IDENTIFYING THE PLACE OF UNIVERSITY IN EDUCATION AND PROMOTION OF STUDENTS' ENTREPRENEURSHIP CAPABILITIES BASED ON FUZZY SCREENING APPROACH

Abstract: 

Due to the accelerating pace in scientific progress, social development and emerging needs, the entrepreneurship and education, and their related skills and capabilities, are among the areas that can be consid3ered one of the main tasks and missions of higher education institutions, especially in the universities, which in turn plays an important role in adaptability of training centers with the realities and needs of today's world. The aim of this study was to identify the place of university in education and promotion of entrepreneurship capabilities of the students by using the fuzzy screening. The population consisted of faculty experts in the field of entrepreneurship at the Shiraz University. After extensive review of literature, 52 entrepreneurship capabilities were extracted and by using fuzzy screening method, capabilities were effectively identified and were prioritized by using fuzzy method. The results of this study showed that among 29 confirmed capabilities, financial and accounting skills, capabilities to start a business, negotiation skills, teamwork and regular planning had the highest potential. The self-efficacy, follow-ups, saving, paying attention to the quality of work had the lowest potential for education and advancement of higher education centers and universities.
