Abstract: 

The main purpose of this study was evaluating the effectiveness of e-Learning on reading and memorizing the Holy Quran among students of the third year of elementary school in Tehran. The sample included 60 students who were selected by non-random sampling.30 students were considered as the control group and 30 students were recruited as the experimental group. To gather data, self-made software packages called Quran Angels, and a questionnaire in accordance with the objectives of the third grade textbook were used. Independent samples t test and t affiliates were used to compare the experimental and control groups. The findings showed that the difference of mean scores of pretest and posttest in the experimental group is more than the control group. It is concluded that using the educational software Quran Angels had a positive impact on reading and memorizing the Quran of third grade elementary students.
