Materials and Methods. In this study 81 patient was reffering to orthopedic clinic with clinical finding of carpal tunnel syndrome and positive electro diagnostic examination (EMG/NCV) was researched past 3 month nonsurgical treatment.
Results. That most common histopathologic finding was fibrosis (67.5 %) and the least was inflammatory reaction (1.2%). Meanwhile in this study sensitivity for phalen test was (81.95%). compression test was (81.95%) and for the tinel test (76.5%). Also this study shows a significant difference in idiopathic carpal tunnel syndrome Females were 5.76 times more than males (P. value: 0.013).
