Abstract: 

Linear programming is one of the appropriate methods which can be used in the formulation diet problem due to the requirements for animals at the least cost. Since often data are experimental, imprecise and approximated, so it will be used the interval and fuzzy models up to diet problem having necessary flexibility. When data is little and incomplete, we looking for exclusive solution for optimization problem or difficult to find the membership function for expert, using the appropriate method to meet the problem is obviously. The main aim of this paper is introducing a new approach for diet problem at uncertainty environment that it is practical and more suitable. In this regard, Grey linear programming with flexibility in selection of the coefficients can be more effective for the diet problems. Hence, in this paper we have been tried to formulate the diet problem in Grey environment for a chicken farm and then compare the results for the other versions such as common linear programming, interval linear programming, and fuzzy linear programming models. Also using the mentioned approach decision maker can achieve several optimal solutions due to the feed price fluctuation, stock and the resource consumption whit comments of manager. In particular, study on the mentioned models showed that with applying the fundamental methods of linear programming and also with developing the current results can prepared the possibility of the sensitivity analysis of the parameters model in uncertainty conditions too.
