Abstract: 

The evaluation of morphological, physiological, qualitative traits and their heterosis in tobacco genotypes and F1 generation (Drought and non drought stress at the two stations in 2011). Tirtash and Rashttook region. Accordingly five virginia tobacco varieties include VE1, Coker347, NC89, K394, Coker254 and they were crossed in a one-way diallel crosses and F1 obtained along with their parents were planted in randomized complete blocks design with three replications. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the studied cultivars in both areas and both stressed and non-stressed with variables of leaf length, leaf width, number of leaves, leaf area index, plant height, stem diameter, green leaf yield, dry leaf yield, days to flowering, flowering period, chlorophyll content, relative water content, the amount of nicotine, sugar, sugar to nicotine ratio, the percentage of potash and nitrogen. The dry leaf yield heterosis in the most positive conditions in both regions belonged to Coker 254×Coker 347, while in terms of tension in the region Tirtash, most positive heterosis in crosses were observed. The amount of nicotine in tension highest positive heterosis Tirtash was awarded to the NC89×Coker347. While in Rasht just under drought stress conditions heterosis was observed. In terms of quantity and quality characters, the most positive and negative heterosis showed changes between stress compared to non-stress conditions.
