CONTENT ANALYSIS AND COLLABORATION RATE OF PUBLISHED ARTICLES IN POLICE MEDICINE JOURNAL DURING 2012 – 2016

Abstract: 

Background: Content analysis studies is one of bibliometric methods that reveal the content of the messages in text. Therefore the aim of this study was to content analyses and collaboration rate of articles published in police medicine Journal between 2012-2016.
Materials and Methods: This study was a retrospective longitudinal study bibliometric study that was conducted in 2016. All articles published between the years 2012 to 2016 were studied. The data were collected with a self-designed data collection forms using SPSS V 17 and descriptive statistics was reported.
Results: The findings showed that men's participation has been more in the papers than women, most studies have been conducted cross sectional analytical studies (39.86%), authors with PhD degree was most corresponding authors in published and police and social psychology topics (22.22%), police trauma and injury and addiction and drug abuse issue has been most frequently topics. Collaboration rate was conducted 0.72.
Conclusion: Collaboration rate among police medicine Journal was in good condition. According to the results suggested that authorities created a plan to balance the specified topic in publication.
