Abstract: 

The main idea of this paper is to present the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) approach in order to reduce dimensionality of measured data for three-dimensional impedance tomography. The reconstruction method is based on the inverse mapping with the aid of the Multi Layer Perceptron neural network. The inverse problem solution provides the identification of the radius and the position of the object placed inside the cylindrical tank.
