THE ROLE OF ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND MOTOR EXPERINENCES IN EDUCATIONAL PERFORMANCE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION STUDNENTS

Abstract: 
The students readiness for learning educational aims is called: academic background. Research findings reveal that the motor experiences and some academic background indecis have a significant role in the educational performance. The aim of this research is to study the role of motor experiences and academic. backgrounds indecis including university entrance exams score (theoretical courses), the Grade Point Average ( GPA), and type of high school diploma, on the educational performance of physical education students at state universities of the country during 2000-2001. The research results show that there is a significant and positive statistical correlation between university entrance exams score and the score of physical fitness test educational performance of students. In addition, a significant and positive statistical correlation between GPA and the university enirace exams . score variables with the students scores at university. The method of this research is causative - comparative and its statistical sample is 460 phyiscal education students at BA level from state universities, which have been selected through random - cluster method. The statistic regression analysis, t. student correlation, and coefficiency have been used for data analysis.
