Abstract: 

The aim of this research is the criterias choosingspouse based on personality traits. Sample of research is 400 students of Yazd azad university (in 2010-2011). We have used prioritizing spousechoosing questionnaire, personality traits neo questionnair. Analysis of datas by using spss soft ware. the results showed that personality, family and business criteria are important for neurotic individuals for extrorerts physical and economic criteria are important, for adaptable people health and economic criteria are important, for pros health and economic criteria are important, for conscience people personal health and appearance criteria are important.
