Screening of mental disorders is simply to identify possible mental disorders that previously identified or have been reported. One of the tools to detect and screening people with mental disorders is Symptom Checklist 90 Revised (SCL-90 -R).the purpose of this study was the Standardization of Symptom Checklist 90 Revised in Army Staffs.

The study population included all employees of Defense Ministry Staffs in March 2009. The survey tool was Symptom Checklist 90 Revised (SCL-90 -R).
Results: Results showed internal consistency and test-retest coefficients using Cronbach's alpha and correlation Pearson were 0.98 and 0.82 respectively. The validity of scale was evaluated by factor analysis method. The cut-off point in Global Symptoms Index (GSI) was determined 0.87. Also norm for male and female was prepared.
