Background and aim: Pemphigus vulgaris is a mucocutanous disease with a prevalence of 1% to 5% was reported. Painful oral lesions interfere with oral hygiene and lead to increased susceptibility to periodontal disease. long term use of immunosuppressive drugs, on the other hand, can increase periodontal disease susceptibility.
