There are many trade promotion policies which are used in international market. Export premium is one of the mentioned policies that is using by Iranian government. The aim of this research was to investigate export premium impact on Iranian agricultural trade pattern.
Variance Analysis Method was used to analyze the impact of export premium on Iranian agricultural export pattern during 1995-2008. Firstly, Iranian agricultural export products divided into 24 subgroups. Secondly, the mentioned subgroups categorized according to export premium in to three groups (low, medium and high premium supported group). The results showed that export premium had significant impact on agricultural trade pattern in Iran. In addition, the results confirmed the positive and significant effect of export premium on agricultural export.
The premium had has a positive effect in favor of high premium received agricultural commodity group.
