Abstract: 
This investigation has paid attention to the skills confronting against stress and educational progress of youth researchers club member of 12 districts Islamic Azad University. The population in this research included all the members of Young Researchers Club in all the branches of Islamic Azad University in 12 zones in the academic year of 2009-10. Using simple random sampling method, 384 students (according to Morgan’s table) were selected from the university branches in Roudehen, Damavand, Parand, Karaj, Ghazvin, Firuzkoh and Varamin. Kalat standard questionnaire (2002) was used which included 32 items. Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient was calculated to be 0.87. Research findings suggested that the main dimension of stress confrontation skills has been categorized in two general topics (method centered on face-to-face on problem and method face-to-face on emotion). It has also been concluded that the skills stress confrontation skills only determines 0.2 of educational progress of members of Young Researchers Club. With regard to standard regression coefficient, methods centered on problem (-0.123) would be effective on education on educational progress.
