Abstract:
The aim of the present research was to study the impact of family environment on children's neurotic tendencies. Therefore 70 female students were chosen through the availability mode among from psychology and counseling students of different universities in Tehran province and were then tested by family environment and neurotic personality inventories. The results suggested that there's negative meaningful correlation between children’s psychotic tendencies and family expressiveness and consistency whereas psychotic tendencies and family conflict are meaningfully, positively related to one another. Additionally, there's meaningful positive correlation between children’s psychotic tendencies and achievement centeredness with regard to personal family growth.
