THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOLS’ ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AND IMPLEMENTATION OF TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN SEMNAN PROVINCE

Abstract: 

The purpose of the study was to explore the relationship between Organizational Culture and implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) The participant in this study were 357 teachers at school in Semnan province. Robins Organizational Culture questionnaire (1996) and the Total Quality Management questionnaire of Quality Federal Institute (1990) were used for collecting data. In order to appoint the validity and reliability of these questionnaires, supervisors confirmed the contents and Cronbach alpha showed 0.80 for Organizational Culture and 0.95 for quality management questionnaire .Use of statistical methods of regression and Pearson coefficient correlation, showed that organizational culture had a meaningful relationship with performance of TQM in P<0.01 level in Semnan's schools.
