Abstract: 
In this paper, the effects of social class and class inequalities on academic achievement through the intervening variables such as parental child rearing method and educational sensitivity, teachers' expectations, socializing process, and personality types and characteristics are examined. Belonging to the upper, middle, and lower classes. Creates differences in the extent of benefiting from or being deprived of educational opportunities and facilities. Such differences could bring about the strengthening of the social status for the upper class, social mobility and improvement in status for the middle class, and hopelessness toward any change in present conditions for the lower class. Research evidence indicates this causanl relation as well as the issue of educational opportunities provided by private schools is discussed.
