Abstract: 
One of the important systems used for drying materials, which are sensitive to temperature, is desiccant dryers. They operate on the basis of the establishment of an increase on the mass potential that is the enviromental air is dehumidified by a porous media, and after the air contacts with the materials are dried, the mass transfer takes place from the materials to the environment. These systems, however, are used in air-conditioning industries. In this research, rotary desiccant dehumidifier was studied and its mathematical model was presented by using mass and energy conservation equations. Government equations were made in non-dimension, and then were solved in both sections of the moisture adsorption and regeneration from porous media using implicit finite-difference method with a good stability and convergence rates. Air relative humidity and temperature profiles and also desiccant moisture content and temperature profiles were determined, and the effect of important parameters such as rotational speed, air relative humidity and temperature, desiccant moisture content and desiccant temperature on the dehumidifier performance were studied.
