Abstract: 

Sepico is name of cowboy mitradat’s wife that on a narration which Herodotus says she was kuorosh’s nanny. Of course that isn’t alone existent narration. On the narration, that tolled by another writers and so Herodotus, Sepico is name of feminine dog which feed milk to kuorosh. On Mady language, Sepico mean feminine dog and this meaning is main cause of deference of view on this filed. On myths of many nation and especially Iranian exited much narration about a child which reject to runaway undesirable results. On those narrations, primarily child deposit to mountain, sea or tree and there is especial bird or animal which protect him. On all case, we can see sign totem and mythological mysterious area. It seems which story of kuorosh is one of narration about rejected child that on translation to historical texts, changed and at result, totem animal change to nanny.
