Abstract:
The Palestinian poetess, Fadawi Taughan was born in Nablos in 1917 and died in 2003. Her brother, Ibrahim Taughan, was one of the pioneers of the resistance poetry in 1940. She studied literary sciences and poetry under the direction of her brother. At first, she wrote romantic poems in the classical form.
Then, after the emergence of the new generation of the resistance poetry, such as Darvish and Samih, She became in harmony with them. Through her delicate poems, she expressed herself and stated the feelings of her country men concerning the Palestinian disasters. She could express the various pains of her people in a sorrowful manner quite well.
