Abstract: 

Experimental results show that the wall thickness of explosively formed cone is variable which was ignored in the presented analytical models. Another word, in these models, supposed that the thickness of initial plate after deformation and change to cone remain constant.
In this paper, explosive cone forming is analyzed by assuming a linear distribution of wall thickness. The most important result of this analysis is an equation to estimating of required charge mass for explosive cone forming operations.
The comparison of analytical results and experimental results shows an agreement between them.
