Abstract: 

In this research, explosive cladding process of the internal surface of CK22, carbon steel pipes with 316L, stainless steel pipes, has been investigated from some points of view. At first, using the available theoretical- experimental relations, the explosive window of two metals was achieved and then, using LS-DYNA software, different steps of finite elements simulation of the process were explained. Some experiments were performed and their results were reported at the end. The minimum surface quality to get a desirable weld was obtained and moreover, the results of both theoretical and numerical approaches were examined and their convergence was established.
