A random selection of 100 coaches, 100 college athletes, and 100 high school athletes, with equal number of males and females, completed the attitudes towards sports psychology questionnaire (Martin et. al., 1997). The results of ANOVA tests showed that coaches and college level athletes regarded sports psychology more positively than high-school athletes did. There was not a significant gender differences in attitude towards sport psychology. Possible applications of the results are discussed.
