Abstract

WE INVESTIGATED THE EFFECTS OF ETHANOLIC EXTRACT OF PLANTAGO MAJOR (EEP) IN RATS SUBMITTED TO ANXIETY MODEL: EPM (ELEVATED-PLUS-MAZE). EEP FROM LEAVES WERE OBTAINED AND ADMINISTERED AT THE DOSES OF 25, 50, 100, 200 AND 400 MG/KG BY INTRAPERITONEALLY (I.P.) INJECTION 1 HR BEFORE THE BEHAVIORAL EVALUATION IN THE EPM.
