Certainly, selecting and abandant using of the special geometrical figures such as star and shamse have not been accidental among the decorations of this complex and other similar ones, and like other parts of the Islamic art enjoy a special religious foundation.
The mentioned forms selection can be attributed to the relationship between the forms of star and shamse with the concepts like light as the expression of God on one hand; and the sky as the matrix of divine light and character on the other hand which are themselves among the most fundamental concepts of Islamic mysticism. Therefore, due to enjoying high visual and aesthetic potential, these reliefs can also serve as a useful source of inspiration to the specialties like Graphic albeit with Iranian and Islamic identity.
